The RNC is challenging a Nevada mail-in ballot law which allows mail-in ballots to be received up to four days after election day and assumes that ballots received within three days of election day were postmarked on election day. They argue that this violates the US Constitutuion and federal law, violates the rights of the RNC's candidates because it cannot prevail when ballots are counted after election day without investing in significant post-election activity and they argue that the law violates an individual's right to vote because it dilutes lawfully submitted votes by counting unlawfully submitted votes. The RNC asks the court to find the mail-in ballot receipt deadline to be unconstitutional and to temporarily and permanently block Nevada from counting ballots received after election day.

Plaintiffs challenge several provisions of Georgia SB 202 as violative of the 14th Amendment and Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. AME Church points in particular to the importance of early and weekend voting, especially Sundays, when churches encourage voting through "Souls to the Polls" events. Plaintiffs argue that each of SB 202's challenged provisions independently make it more difficult for historically disenfranchised communities to vote, and cumulatively, impose an even more severe burden.

Plaintiff is suing Defendants for violations of the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), alleging that Defendants failed to maintain an accurate statewide voter registration list and used a non-compliant voter registration form that did not require applicants to provide a driver's license number or the last four digits of their Social Security number. Further, Plaintiff claims Defendants admitted the violations but failed to take sufficient corrective actions, such as updating the voter registration list or contacting affected voters to obtain missing information. Lastly, Plaintiff alleges that Defendants' actions resulted in significant non-compliance with HAVA's requirements for elections for federal office.

This lawsuit challenges SB 418, which requires voters who register to vote on the day of the election, but who do not provide a valid photo ID, to mail in documentation verifying their identity within seven days or have their vote discarded. The lawsuit argues that the law violated the New Hampshire Constitution.

Whether Ohio Secretary of State LaRose's directive limiting each Ohio county to a single secure drop box for absentee applications and ballots in the 2020 election violates the fundamental right to vote under the First and Fourteenth Amendments, and the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.
The DNC is filing suit against the Georgia State Election board to challenge the recently-enacted "Reasonable Inquiry Rule" for election certifications. Plaintiffs argue that the rule violates Georgia state law mandating election result certification before a deadline, seeking either declaratory relief rendering the rule invalid or injunctive relief limiting the scope of inquiries in order to ensure election certification can be accomplished by deadline.
